HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, which a series of tags, or labels around text describing how the text will look on a computer monitor. A web page is written in HTML. A web browser looks at the code, or tags, in an HTML document and displays the content of the page to appear how the tags define the text, or graphics. xhtml stands for Extensible HyperText Markup Language, and is more strict. The World Wide Web Consortium is looking to eventually replace HTML with xhtml to keep it in line with the larger family of XML-based markup languages. This 2 day hands-on class will cover
